I’ve never liked defining myself by a single label. Since 2001, I’ve navigated the worlds of art, design, and technology, with a strong focus on social change.Starting in advertising agencies and design studios, I moved from graphic and web design to brand identity and art direction. My love for illustration has always been central to my work, whether digital or analog. Notable exhibitions include Essenza Coreutica (2007), exploring beauty through dance, and Dry Water (2013) at Bologna Water Design, a stop-motion film on water conservation.I aim to blend sensory experiences in my work, always considering the audience and message. Recently, my focus has been on UX design, creating intuitive web and mobile experiences.Projects like The Sound of Recycling (2023) and Respectful Boundaries (2023) reflect my commitment to social impact through art. The Box of Secrets (2022) transformed whispered messages into an interactive installation at Suspi in Mendrisio. With my last project, Connessioni Natura (Lugano 2024), I continue to explore eco-sustainable art. As chapter lead of Women in Digital Ticino and a member of Business Professional Women, I’m dedicated to empowering women in tech and amplifying diverse voices.I also support MuDA (Museum of Digital Art) as Art Director, Executive Manager and Curator.[X]
Connessioni Natura is a concept that explores the deep, intrinsic links between humanity and the natural world. It reflects how every aspect of life is interconnected, much like the threads in a complex web. Through this concept, we seek to highlight the symbiotic relationship between humans and the environment, emphatizing the importance of sustainable living and the impact of our actions on the earth. By using natural and recycled materials, the project embodies the idea that art can serve as a bridge, connecting us more closely to the natural world and encouraging a more harmonious coexistence. These canvases tell a story deeply rooted in the rich natural heritage of the Val di Maggia in Ticino. Each piece is a testament to the beauty and resilience of this landscape, capturing the essence of its flowing rivers, ancient forests, and harmonious ecosystems.Together, these canvases offer a powerful narrative of eco-sustainable art, where every element—from the materials to the themes—honours the land of Ticino.By using recycled and natural resources, the project emphatizes the importance of protecting and preserving our environment, showcasing how art can serve as both a reflection of nature’s beauty and a call to sustainable action.
